BERNARDS — It doesn’t take a college degree in math to calculate how $1.5 million can change one’s life.

 

The remaining twenty-seven players competing in the $5,000 event returned to the new 85-table poker room at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa to play for a champion. Within a few hours the Final Table was formed.

 

It was a record-breaking night at the Gold Strike Casino World Poker Open, and it ended with a new champion who was not on anyones top six players list.
