Oregon Delis Pose a Poker Problem
If you are in the state of Oregon and have a hankering for a ham on rye, you might want to think twice about picking up a lottery ticket or playing a game of video poker while you wait. There is a state prohibition against lottery casinos - places that exist solely to sell lottery tickets and the like. It seems that the issue was settled when the Oregon Supreme Court ruled that having video poker terminals doesn’t make a deli a casino unless it was the main function of the business, but some feel the law is too vague to make any firm case.
