Internet TV Show Brings Poker Star
The Las Vegas logo is, “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas,” but the producers of RawVegas.tv might have other ideas. This site hosts the first ever online TV channel that is dedicated to covering the Las Vegas scene exclusively, and will be showcasing poker pro talents on upcoming episodes. Player of the Year Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi will be on RawVegas, as will Joe Sebok, Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, and Gavin Smith…

Poker slang:
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
- BLUFF - To make a bet or raise with a poor hand, in hope that the remaining active player(s) will fold.
- DOYLE BRUNSON - In Hold'em, 10-2 in the hole. So named because Doyle Brunson won two straight WSOPs (q.v.) in 1975 and 1976 with 10-2 on the last hand. (Suited (spades) in 1975, unsuited in 1976).
- LOWBALL - Generic term for poker where the lowest hand wins.
- FLUSH - A poker hand consisting of five cards all one suit.
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
