Poker player dealt bad hand over tournament
AN angry poker player feels he got a raw deal when his place at the table of a £1.1m tournament in Copenhagen was suddenly withdrawn. Craig Sneaks Metcalfe, of Ainslie Street, Barrow, beat off 300 players in two online satellite tournaments to qualify for the European Poker Tour.

Useful poker terms:
- BET FOR VALUE - Betting a hand that, in the long run, is expected to win more than it loses. Antonym: BLUFF.
- FISH - A player who loses money. An old saying is "If you can't spot the fish at the table, *you* are the fish.".
- LOWBALL - Generic term for poker where the lowest hand wins.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- LEAK - To show one's hole cards (often unknowingly).
- REPRESENT - Implying, by one's betting style, that one has a particular hand.
