Crown court jury up ante to decide whether poker is a game of chance
A crown court was introduced to the terms a “flop”, and a “blind bet” as a landmark case opened that could decide the growth of poker gaming.

Poker dictionary:
- BAD GAME - Any game in which you figure to be the loser, because the other players are better than you.
- BICYCLE - The best possible low hand: A-2-3-4-5. More common term: WHEEL.
- STRAIGHT - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence but not in suit.
- ON TILT - Playing worse (usually, more aggressively) than usual because a player has become emotionally upset.
- SHOWDOWN - The point at the end of the hand where all active players reveal their cards and the pot is awarded to the winner(s).
- FREEZE-OUT - A table-stakes game that continues until a small number of players (possibly only one) has all the money. The major event in The World Series of Poker is a freeze-out game.
