CryptoLogic buys Scandinavia’s Parbet poker brand
TORONTO Gambling software firm CryptoLogic Inc. has agreed to pay up to $20-million for the poker brand and related assets of Parbet.com, a popular Scandinavian online poker room.

Poker terminology:
- WIRED [PAIR] - A pair in the hole. In 5-card stud, a door card that pairs the hole card.
- POT - The total amount of money bet so far in a hand.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- TURN - The fourth community card in Hold'em.
- JOKER - A 53rd card in the deck, distinct from the others, used as a wild card or as a BUG.
- BIG SLICK - In Texas Hold'em, hole cards of A-K, suited or not.
