If you like to play poker, the main ballroom at the Best Western Hotel is the place to be this weekend. The hotel will be hosting the Pocono Poker Open, featuring three days of free No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em. The fun begins at 7 p.m. Friday and continues until Sunday morning.
Building on the recent success of the 2006 Borgata Poker Open — the biggest poker tournament in Atlantic City’s history — and the debut of its new, 85-table room — the largest poker room in Atlantic City — Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced it will kick off the New Year with the second annual Borgata Winter Open.

Becoming a poker pro requires more than just winning a big tournament, although that is certainly a good way to get started. Winning a tournament gets you cash, but is it enough to spend on hotels and flights, not to mention big buy ins, at event after event?
