February Could Mean Trouble for Online Poker Rooms
February might be the month that many banking institutions install banking regulations to hamstring online poker transactions according to some industry experts, but others wonder if it is going to matter in the long run. When the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act went into law in October of this year, many online poker rooms turned away from their US facing businesses, and those that remain are depending largely on Neteller, which has steadfastly remained resolute that they will not comply with the UIGEA. Recently poker rooms have been encouraging customers to use other means of making deposits, just in case.
