The winner of this contest in the frozen Scandinavian north could take home Euro 525 000. We’re talking the European Poker Tour’s four day Scandinavian Open poker event which takes place in Copenhagen next year between January 17 and 20.

- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- BET - To put money into the pot, pursuant to the rules of the game, thus maintaining a chance of winning the pot.
- CALLER - One who calls. Sometimes used collectively, as in "3 callers".
- FLAT CALL - To call a bet. Emphasizes that the caller did not raise.
- MISDEAL - A hand dealt incorrectly that must be re-dealt.
- STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
