With Party Poker’s withdrawal from the U.S. market as a result of the UIGEA, many now ex-Party Poker players may be wondering what happens to the loyalty points they accrued whilst the company was still accepting American business. This week the company clarified the situation in emails to former players.

Poker jargon:
- FIFTH STREET - In stud poker, the fifth card to be dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the last card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is RIVER (q.v.).
- MUCK - [1] A collection of face-down cards near the dealer composed of discards, i.e., folded hands, burns and discards for drawing purposes. [2] To throw one's cards into the muck, thus folding.
- FOURTH STREET - In stud poker, the fourth card dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the fourth community card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is TURN (q.v.).
- WHITE BLACKBIRD - A hand so astonishingly rare as to be unworthy of the opponents' consideration, e.g., being dealt a pat royal flush in 5-card draw.
- FULL HOUSE - A hand consisting of 3-of-a-kind and a (different) pair.
- FOUR OF A KIND - A hand containing all four cards of the same rank.
