TASER Foundation and Poker Champion Phil Hellmuth Raise Money for the Families of Fallen Police Officers

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 8, 2006 — Tomorrow, hundreds will gather at the Fort McDowell Indian Casino to help raise money for the families of fallen police officers. The 2nd annual “Playing the Hand” for fallen officers poker charity tournament is hosted by the TASER Foundation and will feature 10-time World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth.

DRAW - [1] A class of poker games characterized by players being dealt 5 cards face-down and later having the opportunity to replace some of the original 5. "Draw poker" and "Five-card draw" are examples of usage. [2] In stud and Hold'em games, the set of cards that will be dealt later can be collectively called "the draw". FIFTH STREET - In stud poker, the fifth card to be dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the last card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is RIVER (q.v.).
SEMI-BLUFF - To bluff with a come hand that figures to win if it hits.
POT LIMIT - A game where the maximum bet is determined by the size of the pot at the time. Note that a player wanting to raise first calls the bet, then totals the pot to determine the maximum amount he can raise.
