Phil Hellmuth, known the world over as the Poker Brat for his behavior at and away from the poker table, is going to be the subject of a poker biopic called “The Madison Kid”. Hellmuth recently confirmed that none other than Hayden Christensen will play him in the movie, centered around the time when then-24-year-old Hellmuth stopped Johnny Chan from a record setting back to back to back run on the WSOP, becoming the youngest ever WSOP Main Event champion. Filming of the story is set to begin in Canada next year.

Hayden Christensen (”Star Wars” prequels) will play “Poker Brat” Phil Hellmuth in the biopic The Madison Kid, according to Production Weekly.In 1989, the 24-year-old Hellmuth became the youngest World Champion of Poker by defeating the two-time defending champion, Johnny Chan, in the World Series of Poker main event.
