French Player Takes Titan Prize
Remy Elkoubi was the lucky one who hit the big jackpot at online poker room Titan Poker this week after winning six consecutive Fort Knox Jackpot Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments, qualifying him for a $100 000 jackpot. Elkoubi, or bennyking as he is known on Titan, not only won his sixth Fort Knox event in a row to nail the prize, he did it with the rarest of all poker hands, the Straight Flush. Elkoubi is not the only player to win the jackpot - he is the fifth player to do so this year.

Poker terminology:
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- PAT - Holding or being dealt a pat hand. "I'm pat" would mean "I don't want to draw any cards.
- TURN - The fourth community card in Hold'em.
- BURN - To discard the top card of the deck prior to dealing, usually done for every dealing round except the first. The theory being that if somehow the cards are marked (illegally) no one will know what card will next be dealt, only what card will be burned. This makes marked cards less of an advantage, hence tends to reduce cheating.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- SMALL BLIND - In games with two blinds the first blind is the SMALL BLIND because it is usually one-half (or less) the second or large blind.
