Dole on top in free-roll poker
Butch Dole, fighting off back-to-back all-in challenges by Tom Duke, won the Nugget No-Limit Hold’em poker free roll tournament Saturday. Dole won with kings and deuces in the final hand, after Duke went all-in for the second straight hand when it was heads-up.

Poker terminology:
- BEE No. 92 (TM) - Trade name for the "diamond back" cards frequently used in casino games. Compare: RIDER BACK.
- LAY ODDS - To give favorable odds to an opponent.
- MANIAC - A player who bets, raises and reraises without regard to the quality of his hand. Most often found in flop games.
- STAKE - The amount of a player's BUY-IN, or the amount of money they are willing to play with in a given session. Compare: BANKROLL.
- EVEN-MONEY - A bet that pays off exactly the amount wagered. E.g., "Double or nothing" is an even-money bet.
- KICKER TROUBLE - Not having as high a kicker as an opponent.
