When the US Congress passed the bill threatening the livelihood of online poker players in America, everyone wondered exactly how the poker industry would be impacted. Much has been made over the fact that the bill does not target the individual poker player, but rather seeks to force banking institutions to enforce a ban on financial transactions that go from the poker player to the online poker room. When Shana Hiatt left the World Poker Tour, a lot of fans were sorry to see her go. After three seasons on the hit poker TV show, it was easy to ascribe much of its success to the former Playmate and her charm.
