Poker run to benefit mobile smoke house
NEW CASTLE — The New Castle Fire Department is sponsoring a poker run today to raise money to make repairs to the Henry County Emergency Management smoke house.

Poker slang:
- RAKE - Money taken from each pot and given to the house in return for hosting the game. Usually a percentage of the pot (5%-10%) up to some maximum amount.
- PAY STATION - A player who rarely folds, thus who frequently calls better hands and loses. Almost as much fun as a LIVE ONE.
- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- HOUSE RULE - Rules and interpretations (e.g., use of wild cards, or rules on having to show beaten hands) that are specific to an establishment or even tables within the establishment.
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
