After months of rumors, it appears that the much speculated upon public listing by Pokerstars is off. The Independent reports that the world’s second-biggest online poker company after PartyGaming, has shelved plans for a GBP 1.6 billion (Euro 2.3 billion) London flotation until early next year.

 

The MSNBC website was busy Wednesday when the news and entertainment broadcaster launched a poll to assess opinions on the weekend legislative moves to disrupt financial flows from American players to online gambling sites.

 

Top U.S. and international poker magazine Bluff issued a statement this week condemning the actions of U.S. legislators in approving a proposal that would make financial transactions with online gambling companies illegal.
