Sheriffs office to hold poker run, deer hunts
The Florence County Sheriffs Office will hold its Seventh Annual Bikes and Badges Poker Run on Saturday, as well as its 11th Annual Deer Hunts, which will take place throughout the deer season.

Poker dictionary:
- CUT - To break the deck into 2 stacks of at least 5 cards each. Usually performed by the player to the dealer's right to insure that the the deck is not stacked.
- TOKE - Gambling term for "tip", as in "Toke the cocktail waitress". Comes from the term "Token of appreciation".
- MIDDLE POSITION - Betting positions approximately halfway around the table from the first player to act.
- DRAW OUT - To catch a card that improves your situation from a losing hand to a winning hand, especially when you beat someone holding a hand that usually figures to win.
- LITTLE SLICK - In Hold'em, hole cards of A-2, suited or not.
- STRAIGHT FLUSH - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence and the same suit.
