Being filmed in the South Coast Casino in Las Vegas, the Pro-Am Equalizer has had another final seat taken by a professional poker player when Phil “The Unabomber” Laak won his qualifying heat on Tuesday. - STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
- WHEEL - A-2-3-4-5. Usually discussed in the context of lowball where it is the best possible hand. Can also refer to a 5-high straight in high games. Also: BICYCLE.
- UNDERDOG - Before all the cards are dealt, a hand that does not figure to be the winner. Ant: FAVORITE.
- PAY STATION - A player who rarely folds, thus who frequently calls better hands and loses. Almost as much fun as a LIVE ONE.
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
