Poker jargon:
- REPRESENT - Implying, by one's betting style, that one has a particular hand.
- SET - In Hold'em, three of a kind where two of the cards are hole cards.
- HOUSE RULE - Rules and interpretations (e.g., use of wild cards, or rules on having to show beaten hands) that are specific to an establishment or even tables within the establishment.
- EDGE - An advantage over an opponent, either specific or subjective.

- TABLE STAKES - A standard rule whereby during a hand players can only bet the money they have on the table. A side pot is created, for which only the remaining players may compete.
