For the past four days, players battled. Over 500 players entered the Borgata Poker Open final tournament with the same goal and dream — to be one of the final six with a seat at the televised World Poker Tour final table.
One of the more hotly anticipated poker video game titles shipped to stores today for multiple game consoles. Activision’s Tournament of Champions, which is available for the PC, Playstaion II, PSP, and Xbox 360, is an updated version of last year’s game by the same name. This new Tournament of Champions adds more than 20 big name pros to the field, and, using webcam technology, players can literally put virtual versions of themselves right in the game - with the Xbox Live Vision camera, players can map their faces into the game, putting themselves right next to the pros at the table…
In what seems to be a race between online poker rooms and the US Government, where the rooms hope to gather as much clout and as many customers in advance of an online poker ban in the US, Party Poker has recently joined the ranks of those popular poker rooms that offer a Mac compatible solution to online poker players.
