The police department Friday finally showed its cards against beleaguered poker star Richard Lee. It’s a stack. Since February, a vice officer has rifled through trash, tailed luxury cars, gambled online and sorted through a string of local bank accounts and phone records in an effort to gather evidence against Lee and others, according to an affidavit for a search warrant released Friday.
This Friday 1st September, All In Sport announces the launch of the inaugural European Poker Masters. A new pan-European poker tour featuring the worlds biggest pros playing for an estimated £1million prize pool in the most glamorous casinos and card rooms across Europe. The tour combines high profile existing events as well as exciting new poker tournaments debuting on the global poker circuit this year. The 2006 tour schedule includes events in London, Paris and Dublin.
The first issue of Poker Pro Europe magazine was on the shelves at over 8000 retail outlets, bookstores, airports, casinos, card rooms and newsstands throughout English-speaking Europe this week. The new publication is backed by a rich media website in both .com and .co.uk domains launched on August 24.
Joanne “JJ” Liu took the winner’s prize in this weeks World Poker Tour Ladies Night IV tournament held at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California, earning herself a $25,000 seat into the WPT’s Championship Event and a WPT ring.
