Poker ride to raise funds for muscular dystrophy
The Hamilton County Professional Firefighters Association Local No. 4416 will host a Motorcycle Poker Ride and Tent Party Sept. 2 to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Poker lingo:
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- RING GAME - A standard game where players can come and go as they choose. The opposite of TOURNAMENT.
- TOURNAMENT - A highly structured game involving potentially dozens of tables where all participants pay an entry fee and obtain a fixed number of chips. Once a tournament has started, additional players may not enter. As the game progresses players bust out and are eliminated until only one winner remains.
- JOKER - A 53rd card in the deck, distinct from the others, used as a wild card or as a BUG.
- CAP - To cap the betting is to make the last permitted raise in a round.
