Last year Internet gaming software company Playtech announced that their poker software had generated $500,000 in revenue. This year, poker revenues have skyrocketed up 851%, pushing the revenue generated by Playtech poker software to $4.8 million. There are over 40 online gambling sites that use Playtech software, including casino and bingo sites and online poker giants like Noble Poker and Titan Poker…

 

August 25 - David Wood, a 20-year-old student studying at Purdue University in Indiana beat out thousands of students from across America to win the Absolute Poker ‘Win Your Tuition’ tournament.
