Poker Pros Head Online After WSOP
Now that the 37th annual World Series of Poker has wrapped up, many professional poker players were looking for something to do over this past weekend and wandered onto Full Tilt Poker online poker room to take place in the newly launched “online poker series”. Full Tilt team member and leader of the Poker Players Alliance Howard Lederer showed why he’s called “The Professor” as he made the final table, as did World Poker Tour Paris winner Roland De Wolfe.
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series kicked off with a $200 plus $15 tournament and included such big-name players as John Juanda, Andy Bloch, and Clonie Gowen. Roland ended up with a win after eliminating Howard, but only after making a deal with online player Houdini10….

Poker lexicon:
- MITES AND LICE - A hand consisting of two pair, threes over twos.
- SCOOP - To take all of a pot that is normally split, either by winning both halves outright or winning one half when no players qualify for the other half.
- BET - To put money into the pot, pursuant to the rules of the game, thus maintaining a chance of winning the pot.
- POSITION - One's location in the betting sequence, relative to the players still in the hand. First position is first to act.
- MUCK - [1] A collection of face-down cards near the dealer composed of discards, i.e., folded hands, burns and discards for drawing purposes. [2] To throw one's cards into the muck, thus folding.
- WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
