The Professional Poker Tour has had a few schedule changes which were recently announced. The first event of the second season of the PPT is going to be held at Foxwoods on November 7, during which time the World Poker Tour will also be in attendance.   • MIDDLE POSITION - Betting positions approximately halfway around the table from the first player to act.
  • CRYING CALL - A call made with little chance of ultimately winning, but marginally better than an immediate fold.
  • DOUBLE BELLY BUSTER - A two-way inside straight. E.g., 3-5-6-7-9.
  • TOP TWO PAIR - In flop games, having hole cards that make the highest possible two pair hand.
  • COMMUNITY CARDS - Cards that are available for every player to use in making a hand. Usually dealt face up somewhere in the middle of the table.
  • MANIAC - A player who bets, raises and reraises without regard to the quality of his hand. Most often found in flop games.
