Hedge-Fund Trader Einhorn Ranks 18th — in Poker World Series
Aug. 9 (Bloomberg) — David Einhorn, founder of $3 billion hedge fund Greenlight Capital LLC, was knocked out of the World Series of Poker last night, taking 18th place and winning $659,730, which he plans to donate to charity.

- DOOR [CARD] - A player's first upcard in stud games.
- QUARTER - [1] Twenty-five dollars, often symbolized by a green casino chip. [2] To divide half a pot between two tying hands. In split pot games, a player who "ties" another player for their half of the pot is said to be "quartered". One might say "I didn't bet my A-2 because I figured I'd get quartered".
- FULL OF - Describes a full house. "Fives full of queens" is 5-5-5-Q-Q.
- FOUR OF A KIND - A hand containing all four cards of the same rank.
- FIRE - To make the first bet in a betting round. Used to emphasize that the player bet when a check was possible, showing strength.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
