Former Hollywood agent keeps poker lead
Former Hollywood talent agent Jamie Gold kept his lead Monday at the World Series of Poker, wiping out two players in the space of an hour and amassing a chip stack almost twice the size of his nearest competitor’s.

- ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
- WORLD SERIES OF POKER - A series of several different poker games with relatively large buy-ins, culminating in a $10,000 buy-in no-limit Hold'em tournament, the winner of which is crowned the World Poker Champion. Sponsored by Binion's Horseshoe Club in Las Vegas.
- RAKE - Money taken from each pot and given to the house in return for hosting the game. Usually a percentage of the pot (5%-10%) up to some maximum amount.
- LOWBALL - Generic term for poker where the lowest hand wins.
