LAS VEGAS, Nevada (PRESS RELEASE) — The stars of a sexy new poker movie sponsored by Aces.com partied with poker stars Howard Lederer, Phil Gordon, Lisa Mueller and others last weekend at Lederer’s private WSOP bash.

Players that make it to the final table in the World Series of Poker likely have their eyes on the prize. Their mind is focused on getting as far as they can up the pay scale, hopefully finishing out on top, grabbing a coveted bracelet and a huge cash prize. While it wasn’t more than a murmur in the beginning of this season’s tournament, a ground swelling of complaint has begun over the fact that all the money put into events by players is reportedly not staying in the events - instead the organizers and owners of the World Series of Poker, Harrah’s Entertainment, is said to be taking from 6% to 9% of the prize pool and distributing it among the casino workers for the events…

 

For those who can’t wait for ESPN to begin broadcasting footage from the 37th annual World Series of Poker, which is still going on in the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, they may be able to see video content which appears exclusively on VCAST from Verizon Wireless. On their sports channel two World Series of Poker videos are being broadcast daily, which will include action from the tournament floor, interviews with poker professionals, and updates on chip leaders. The content is being provided as a courtesy by Card Player Magazine and AOL and published by Glu Mobile through its new, worldwide alliance with Harrah’s Entertainment….
