These days, everyone getting dealt in on poker craze
LAS VEGAS — Doyle Brunson, the 72-year-old legend who made a living playing poker before that kind of thing was cool, vividly recalls the conversation he had decades ago with another forefather of his sport.

Poker slang:
- SUICIDE KING - King of Hearts. So named because in the drawing the king appears to be stabbing himself in the head.
- SHOWDOWN - The point at the end of the hand where all active players reveal their cards and the pot is awarded to the winner(s).
- RAKE - Money taken from each pot and given to the house in return for hosting the game. Usually a percentage of the pot (5%-10%) up to some maximum amount.
- TAP - In no-limit games, to wager all of one's money in one bet.
- FLOP - [1] In Hold'em, the first three community cards, dealt simultaneously. [2] To deal a flop, or to make a hand on a flop. "I flopped trips".
- DEAD MONEY - Money contributed to the pot by players who have folded.
