Seven Top Poker Players File Antitrust Lawsuit Against The World Poker Tour
Today, seven of the world’s top poker players filed an antitrust Complaint against WPT Enterprises, Inc. in federal district court in Los Angeles. By this lawsuit, Plaintiffs Chris Ferguson, Andrew Bloch, Annie Duke, Phil Gordon, Joseph Hachem, Howard Lederer, and Greg Raymer seek to enjoin - and seek treble and punitive damages for - WPTE’s continuing violations of federal and state antitrust

- RAKE - Money taken from each pot and given to the house in return for hosting the game. Usually a percentage of the pot (5%-10%) up to some maximum amount.
- THIRD STREET - In Stud, the third card dealt to each player.
- REBUY - [1] To purchase additional chips after an initial buy-in, usually after losing most or all of the previous buy-in. This term is most often used in certain tournaments where if one loses all one's chips, or falls below a certain minimum chip level, for an additional sum of money one can purchase a fixed amount of additional tournament chips. Usually there is a time limit (The "REBUY PERIOD") as to how long rebuys are allowed. [2] The additional chips "rebought" in tournament play.
- MISDEAL - A hand dealt incorrectly that must be re-dealt.
- OPENERS - Cards in a hand that qualify a player to open the betting.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
