2006 WSOP: Pot-Limit Omaha WSOP Show Over Today
The Pot-Limit Omaha event at the World Series of Poker wraps up today, with the final players hunting each other and trying their best to not be the ones to make the most mistakes and thus ruin their chances for WSOP glory. The event will kick off in the afternoon with a final group of players, who will play in day two of this two day event until a final table is selected. At this point a break will commence as the ESPN camera crews set up shop, and then the show will continue…

Poker argot:
- RERAISE - To raise after an opponent has raised.
- BOARD - The exposed cards in Hold'em and stud. Also BOARD CARDS.
- POT ODDS - The amount of money in the pot divided by the amount of money you must bet in order to call. Often used to determine if a pot offers enough reward to play on the come.
- BIG BLIND - A blind bet, usually a raise of an earlier blind which would be called the SMALL BLIND. In limit poker, the BIG BLIND is usually the size of the minimum bet on the first round of betting.
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
- MISDEAL - A hand dealt incorrectly that must be re-dealt.
