PartyGaming defends it’s poker domains and trademarks
The Party Gaming group has been busy defending its trade marks and domains, judging by the latest report from the Geneva based World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) a body which arbitrates on domain disputes.

Poker argot:
- HOUSE RULE - Rules and interpretations (e.g., use of wild cards, or rules on having to show beaten hands) that are specific to an establishment or even tables within the establishment.
- FREEZE-OUT - A table-stakes game that continues until a small number of players (possibly only one) has all the money. The major event in The World Series of Poker is a freeze-out game.
- UNDERDOG - Before all the cards are dealt, a hand that does not figure to be the winner. Ant: FAVORITE.
- BELLY BUSTER - An inside straight draw. Same as GUTSHOT.
- STAKE - The amount of a player's BUY-IN, or the amount of money they are willing to play with in a given session. Compare: BANKROLL.
- RAINBOW - In flop games, a flop in which no two cards are of the same suit. "The flop was A 9 7 rainbow."
