Tulsa, OK Man Has Good Showing in Poker Event
The Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge saw a lot of stiff competition recently, and Tulsa, Oklahoma was pulling for Tu Huynh for the win when he managed to make the final table on Monday. Only 20 players made it to the best seat in the house, the final round of play in the event, and Huynh had a chance to win it all, but finished in 19th place.
This was the second Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge, and the pro poker player’s namesake event took place at the Cherokee Casino in Catoosa, and first place went to a pro player out of CA, one Nam Lee, who took home over $160,000 and a watch worth more than $35,000.. …

- SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
- WALK - A pot won by the last blind when no one opens.
- COMMUNITY CARDS - Cards that are available for every player to use in making a hand. Usually dealt face up somewhere in the middle of the table.
- SUITED - Two or more cards all the same suit. Ant: OFF-SUIT.
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- FREE CARD - A card dealt after all players checked in a betting round.
