New Poker Show on CBS Today
The Olympics of Poker is kicking off today on CBS, Saturday June 17, as the network’s sports programming show Sports Spectacular showcases a poker event that draws international participants to play in the Intercontinental Poker Championship. 21 poker players, broken into 3 groups of seven, each group playing against each other to see who will move on to the next round. Each group of six remainig players will play again to see who else moves on, forming a new double elimination format that should prove interesting.
