World Poker Congress examines live-online poker synergy
When the World Poker Congress (WPC) convenes in Stockholm on June 26 & 27, the poker industry will be examined in an entirely different way. With experts from the Internet poker world and real-life poker rooms, the WPC will, for the first time, look into issues that affect them jointly.

Poker jargon:
- TO GO - The current betting level, as in "$20 to go" meaning every player must contribute $20 (total) or drop. A $10 raise would then make the pot "$30 to go".
- CRYING CALL - A call made with little chance of ultimately winning, but marginally better than an immediate fold.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
- ACTION - Money that is being bet. "NO ACTION" means a hand or game has few bettors and fewer raisers. "Gimme some action" is ostensibly a plea for calls and raises.
- POCKET PAIR - Generic Hold'em term for 2 hole cards of the same rank.
- ON THE COME - A situation where the player does not have a complete hand but hopes to make one if the right cards come up.
