Professional Poker Tour Schedule Released
LOS ANGELES, California (PRESS RELEASE) — With the television debut of the first season of the Professional Poker Tour(PPT) slated for July 5 on the Travel Channel only a month away WPT Enterprises, Inc., announced today the field and the schedule for the PPT’s second tournament season to begin in September 2006.

Poker jargon:
- PASS - Opposite of bet. To check, if checked to. To fold, if bet to.
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- SHORT-STACKED - Playing with a only a small amount of money, thus limiting one's risk and reward.
- DEAD MONEY - Money contributed to the pot by players who have folded.
- OUT - [1] A card that will improve your hand, often substantially. A hand with many OUTS is preferable to a hand with only 1 or 2. [2] Folded, ineligible to bet or win this hand. "I'm out" is often a synonym for "I fold".
- PAT - Holding or being dealt a pat hand. "I'm pat" would mean "I don't want to draw any cards.
