Washington State Makes It a Felony to Play Poker Online
As of June 7, it is now a felony in the state of Washington to play poker on the Internet. The bill, S.S.B. No. 6613, has stirred up great anxiety in poker forums. Many feel, correctly, that they have been blind-sided.

Poker terminology:
- BELLY BUSTER - An inside straight draw. Same as GUTSHOT.
- OVERCALL - To call a bet after one or more players already called.
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- CUT - To break the deck into 2 stacks of at least 5 cards each. Usually performed by the player to the dealer's right to insure that the the deck is not stacked.
- MIDDLE POSITION - Betting positions approximately halfway around the table from the first player to act.
- POSITION - One's location in the betting sequence, relative to the players still in the hand. First position is first to act.
