Online Poker Tournament Players Seek Soulmates
Over the last number of months in the online poker world there have been plenty of new approaches to the industry, the latest of which puts the emphasis on socialization over dollars and cents. Partypoker.com, one of the largest online poker rooms are already known for focusing on fun as well as money, has put together a poker tournament for online dating site Lavalife.com, giving their members a unique and fun opportunity to meet and mingle online.
With Texas Hold’em tournaments every week for singles only, the first 11 matches will carry the 20 top players into an online championship event on June 9. Each event will be a freezeout, and there will be plenty of action for those poker lovers in the group — but the point will be for Lavalife members to use the online chat function and talk to the other players at the table….
