Internet poker group Pokerstars prepares for 1 bln stg London float - report
LONDON (AFX) - Pokerstars, the world’s second-largest internet poker company, is preparing to float on the London stock market before the end of this year with a value likely to exceed 1.1 bln stg (2 bln usd), The Sunday Times said.

- SPLIT [OPENERS] - In draw poker, to discard one or more openers, usually to draw to a straight or flush. Normally requires the opener to declare the act and retain the discards so that the act of opening can later be validated.

- MITES AND LICE - A hand consisting of two pair, threes over twos.
- STRAIGHT FLUSH - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence and the same suit.
