World Series of Strip Poker Winner Declared
Whether or not the world is ready for this bit of news, the World Series of Strip Poker has a winner and his name is Will Wheaton. The former child actor and star of Star Trek The Next Generation has become known as something of a professional poker player in recent years. He certainly showed his game at this event, losing some articles of clothing and winning some back, finishing up the game wearing a pair of jeans that was too small for him.
This event follows some of the more fun takes on the current poker craze such as the Extreme Poker Challenges which have taken place 30 feet under the ocean waves and in sub freezing temperatures in an ice castle in the Arctic….

Poker terminology:
- SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
- FLUSH - A poker hand consisting of five cards all one suit.
- NO-LIMIT POKER - A game where there is no maximum bet; a player can wager any amount (perhaps above some minimum) up to whatever money is on the table in front of him.
- HIT - To make a hand or catch a card or cards that improves one's hand. "I hit a gut-shot draw on the river."
- GOOD GAME - A game with players worse than you so that you can expect to win a lot of money.
- DEAD MONEY - Money contributed to the pot by players who have folded.
