Poker Powers Converge at World Poker Congress
The organizers of the World Poker Congress last week announced that Steve Lipscomb, president of the World Poker Tour, will deliver a keynote speech at the event, scheduled for June 27 - 28, 2006 at the City Conference Center in Stockholm, Sweden.

Poker glossary:
- NICKEL - Five dollars, usually represented by a red casino check.
- FLUSH - A poker hand consisting of five cards all one suit.
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
- RUNNER-RUNNER - A hand made using both of the last two cards dealt.
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
- DEAD MAN'S HAND - Generically: two pair, aces and eights. Specifically: the black aces, black eights and nine of diamonds. The hand Wild Bill Hickok was holding when he was shot to death.
