Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament 3 at the Golden Nugget
To make a prize pool of over two million dollars for a poker tournament, it would typically take a great many poker players putting up a few thousand dollars each. What if the buy in to such an event was $50,000? Then you only need about two dozen professional poker players, which was the number that competed against each other at the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament 3 at the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas last November.
Starting this month poker fans can see the results on Fox Sports every Sunday at 8 PM as they watch the big names in professional poker battle each other for the lions share of the prize pool. Poker TV fans will be in for a treat with a tournament that has a new structure to what they might expect, different from the freezeout common to the World Poker Tour….
