Most people take cruises to get away from it all, have some fun in the sun, and take in some great entertainment and delectable foods while exploring exotic and tropical locations. For 528 people aboard the MS Westerdam, however, cruising took on a whole other purpose, as they aimed to win a million-dollar poker prize while sailing around the Caribbean. Over the past week, Party Poker, the world’s largest online poker room, held its fifth annual PartyPoker.com Millions tournament, a $10,000 buy-in Limit Texas Hold ‘em event.

- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- OFFSUIT - Not of the same suit. "I held A-Q offsuit" or "The flop was 10-6-2 offsuit". When speaking of 5 or more cards, not all/ of the same suit, i.e., no flush, as in "button had A-K-10-8-7 offsuit."
- STRAIGHT FLUSH - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence and the same suit.
- ANTE - A small bet all players are required to make before a hand is dealt. Not all games have an ante. Related terms: BLIND, FORCED BET.
- DEALER'S CHOICE - In home games, a rule that permits the dealer to name which poker game to be played that hand. Often limited to selecting from a list provided.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
