Parents Called On to Educate Kids on Poker
The poker and gambling debate rages on world wide, with lines being drawn between anti gambling and pro gambling folks, and plenty in the middle. Internet articles abound on the dangers of gambling and how what seems like harmless poker draws in kids to a world of gambling addiction, mainly because parents don’t realize that what their kids are doing when they play games like Texas Hold’em is learning to be gamblers.
Other sides of the issue point out that there is a world of difference between playing Texas Hold’em for fun and gambling real money at a casino, and that parents should be involved by explaining the difference to their kids. Gambling addiction is a serious problem, and one expert’s say has no obvious, tell tale clues, but one that can be avoided with the proper education….
