Poker Tournament Canceled; Ohio AG Gets Retraining Order
DAYTON, Ohio — A Dayton poker tournament was canceled after Ohios attorney general got a restraining order. The big Hold ‘Em Tournament was supposed to start on Thursday at the Dayton Convention Center.

- RUNNER-RUNNER - A hand made using both of the last two cards dealt.
- FLOORMAN - The casino representative in charge of the card room or a section of a card room. Arbitrates disputes when unusual events happen.
- OPEN-ENDED STRAIGHT - Four cards to a straight which can be completed by drawing a card at either end. E.g., 6-7-8-9 is an open-ended straight. Also: BOBTAIL STRAIGHT. Compare: INSIDE STRAIGHT.
- TOKE - Gambling term for "tip", as in "Toke the cocktail waitress". Comes from the term "Token of appreciation".
- CARDS SPEAK - Winner(s) of the hand are determined by turning their cards face up, the best hand(s) wins (no declaration).
- FREEZE-OUT - A table-stakes game that continues until a small number of players (possibly only one) has all the money. The major event in The World Series of Poker is a freeze-out game.
