UGA freshman makes final table of European poker tourney
A 19-year-old freshman from the University of Georgia is the only American remaining on the final day of the European Poker Tour’s Grand Final. Jeff Williams of Dunwoody currently is in third place as the eight-person final table of the tournament begins today in Monaco.

Poker terminology:
- TAPPED [OUT] - Out of money. Can refer to a player running out of money in the course of a hand, thus still active for the main pot; or can refer to a player who has lost his bankroll and can no longer play.
- LATE POSITION - For a particular betting round, a player who does not have to act until most of the other players have acted.
- BET FOR VALUE - Betting a hand that, in the long run, is expected to win more than it loses. Antonym: BLUFF.
- RUNNER-RUNNER - A hand made using both of the last two cards dealt.
- STRAIGHT FLUSH - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence and the same suit.
- SUITED - Two or more cards all the same suit. Ant: OFF-SUIT.
