Update: NCAA reinstates Party Poker-endorsing collegiate golfer
Poker-playing collegiate golfer Bobby Neary was reinstated by the NCAA after having his eligibility to participate in golf tournaments annulled. The reason for the original ban? Neary, a student at northern California’s Sonoma State University, violated NCAA bylaws, which state that a student-athlete cannot take on product endorsements, when he competed in the Aussie Millions poker tournament in January.
