PokerStars.com Guarantees $1 Million Purse in Weekly Online Poker Tournament
Online poker players now have a chance to turn a couple hundred dollars into a couple hundred thousand dollars each week. PokerStars.com has announced that, every Sunday, it will be hosting a $215 buy-in poker tournament with a guaranteed total purse of $1 million. Whereas the online poker site used to host $1 million guaranteed tournaments just once a month, its management decided to increase the frequency to once a week, due to the ever-increasing number of poker enthusiasts playing on the site.

Poker lexicon:
- ROYAL FLUSH - An ace-high straight flush, the best possible hand in regular poker.
- BARN - A FULL HOUSE, three of a kind and a pair.
- TELL - Any personal mannerisms that reveal the quality of one's hand. E.g., constantly looking at one's hole cards is often a tell of a poor hand. (Some players, knowing this, will at times check their hole cards when they have a great hand and don't need to look.)
- KICKER TROUBLE - Not having as high a kicker as an opponent.
- SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
- MIDDLE POSITION - Betting positions approximately halfway around the table from the first player to act.
