Online Poker Helps Sportingbet Grow in Q2 2006
The second quarter results for online gaming company Sportingbet have been released, and they indicate strong growth. The growth is fueled in part by increased revenue from the company’s Paradise Poker Internet gaming site. Figures for the publicly-traded company indicate that its take from online poker games has doubled in this year’s Q2, to an average of $541,782 per day, compared to just $261,668 a day in last year’s second quarter.
